On Road Safety Tips Part 1
Tips February 29th, 2008

Keep your distance Amigo!
Avoid following too Close. As tailgating will most likely result to rear-end accidents.. Maintain a 3-second following distance from the car in front of you, except in hazardous weather conditions where you should maintain a 4- or 5-car following distance.
Have your whip maintained.
Give your vehicle regular checkups, especially the wiper fluid, brakes, and tires. and replace wiper blades whenever they are worn. You don’t want your car to break down or suffer an accident just for not spending a few dollars on maintenance. Remember: Your life also depends on the condition of your vehicle. Also a well maintained vehicle doesn’t eat up as much gas as an un-maintained one.

HOW TO AVOID TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS (3/3)
Tips February 27th, 2008

Avoid Improper Lane Changes
This is something often disregarded by motorists, improper lane changes are notorious in causing accidents, a simple mistake that can claim lives. Make sure that before you change, you get to check all mirrors, and signal long before you change. That way other motorists would notice long enough that they can have a moment to adjust. Also, watch for the other vehicles as they may have not seen your signal. Getting caught up in an accident due to improper lane change is not convenient as you get to pay the damages you inflicted upon yourself, your victim and you would still be apprehended by the law, because Improper Lane Change is a serious offense to the traffic law.

Beware of Intersection Errors
Look around carefully and always proceed with caution when driving upon an intersection, even if you have the right of way.
This is because 23 percent of all fatal crashes are made up of intersection and intersection-related crashes. And more than half of all fatal and injury crashes occur at intersections.
Be Attentive when Driving.
Always focus on your own driving, on other drivers, walking or standing pedestrians, and driving conditions such as road terrain, weather and time. Lack of focus and concentration will equate to added risk of risking your life, your passengers and the people around you as well.

What is Auto Insurance?
Tips February 22nd, 2008
For car owners, auto insurance is not just an option, but rather it is a legal necessity. If you get into an accident, or if your car is stolen or damaged, you need insurance so that repair costs or the loss will not be too heavy a burden. So what really is this auto insurance? Is it an easy way to get easy money in just an instant? Or is it just another problem that will just cover up another one in times of need?
The first time I read about auto insurance information online, I felt it’s a way to get a rush of money so easily, in a flash. Well it sounds cool but I never knew that auto insurance would involve a lot of things.
Having auto insurance will essentially cover up for financial losses in certain instances. Coverage will usually be in the following forms:
1. Property coverage - payment received from damages and theft
2. Liability coverage - payment for accident related injuries and property damage.
3. Medical coverage - payment for injuries, medical operation cost, rehabilitation, funeral expenses.
In other words it is one means to get yourself secured, whatever happens to you or your car.

Reducing Your Car Premium
Tips February 18th, 2008
As insurance companies tend to charge high premiums for car insurance, there are ways to lower it:
- Low mileages reduce significantly your premium. Thus, it is recommended to use your car only for short drives.
- Pay your insurance premiums in one installment as insurance companies charge more for monthly premiums.
- Don’t apply too much customization on your car because tweaking the stock features increases the premium.
- Don’t go beyond the speed limit. Speeding fines increase premium as insurance companies keep a record of this violation.
The Factors which Affect your Insurance Premium
Normal factors which affect insurance premium are age, location, car make, and the like. However, as there is a higher risk involved in sports cars, there is also a higher rate. Most insurance companies charge the same rate for sports car insurances even for different car makes since they have a record of the usual sports car predicaments.

Deciding Factors For High Risk Insurance
Tips February 15th, 2008
If you think you’re at risk when behind the wheel, then admit it and get some high risk insurance. In order to get one see the article below:
What decides a high risk driver?
Driving record. Okay, no surprise here. Everybody knows that at-fault accidents will increase your rates, but tickets and not-at-fault accidents can too. Why? For every speeding ticket you get, your chances of being involved in a traffic accident rise by 100%, and being involved in multiple car accidents, (even if you’re “not at fault”) may suggest a pattern of reckless driving.
Personal profile. This probably doesn’t come as a surprise, either. And there’s not much you can do about it. Insurance companies will always consider men a greater risk than women, teens greater than adults, and urban dwellers greater than rural folk.
Continuous coverage. Whether you’ve carried auto insurance coverage continuously over the past few years will affect your ability to get a policy now. That’s because the assumption is that you’ve either been driving without coverage (a big no-no!) or had your policy canceled by the previous insurer.
Your credit history. It may not seem fair, but your credit is a factor that increasingly influences other areas of your life, including insurance. Statistics show that drivers with poor credit file more auto insurance claims, and so companies use this info to classify high risk drivers.

Indemnity Health Plan
Plans February 11th, 2008
An specified quantity of money or reward to be paid that protects an insured loss is called indemnity. An Indemnity Health Plan is branded as a charge for service health insurance programs. Before IPA, PPO and HMO plans became in-demand, Indemnity Health Plans was preferred by many. When you have an indemnity plan, you can pay a set of percentage of the whole expenses of the medical treatment. You can identify the total cost of medical treatment with the help of a doctor and the health insurance provider. The advantage of having such plan is that the person is aggressively participating in choosing the medical professionals.
Insuring Luxury Cars (part 2)
Tips February 8th, 2008
The other luxury car worth insuring is the Audi A4. The A4 has a dual-stage and dual-threshold airbag supplemental with occupant sensors. Its new system of seat belts has a good management and usability that enables a safer way of employing seat belts while on the road. Ultimately, it has a child safety feature like LATCH [or the lower anchorage and tethers for children] system placed at the rear seats with child rear locks.
Both the BMW 330i and the Audi A4 have the essential extras that ensure the quality safety above all. One wouldn’t hesitate to get car insurance for these cars as insurance companies charge lower premiums for safe cars as well as give discounts for ant-theft or vehicle-tracking features.
